# Coast 2 Coast 4 ALS > A 4,000-mile cross-country cycling journey raising awareness and funds for ALS research, patient support, and caregiver resources — inspired by Laura Olds and benefiting Team Gleason and the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins. Coast 2 Coast 4 ALS is a nonprofit cycling initiative riding from La Push, Washington to Dewey Beach, Delaware in support of those impacted by ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
