# Coast 2 Coast 4 ALS

> A 4,000-mile cross-country cycling journey raising awareness and funds for ALS research, patient support, and caregiver resources — inspired by Laura Olds and benefiting Team Gleason and the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins.

Coast 2 Coast 4 ALS is a nonprofit cycling initiative riding from La Push, Washington to Dewey Beach, Delaware in support of those impacted by ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). The ride launched May 1, 2026 and spans 12 states along the Great American Rail-Trail.
